Limited Warranty

Holiday Lighting Management, LLC (“HLM”) warrants its products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of three seasons from the date of shipment, with proof of purchase.   A season is defined as 90 days.  Warranty is for non-permanent installation and for use of no more than 90 days at a time.  An exception to the three seasons warranty is the Cherry Blossom Trees and Bows.  The Cherry Blossom Trees and Bows have a one season warranty.

 

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty is conditioned upon proper use, installation, storage, and maintenance of product.  Warranty only covers products for non-permanent, seasonal installation for no more than 90 days at a time.  The warranty is void if damage is caused by misuse, faulty installation, extreme weather, electrical surges, improper maintenance, negligence, insects and animals or accidents.  Products that have been modified in any way are not covered under this warranty.  Foliage and fabric bow fading is not covered under the warranty as they may fade depending on the exposure level of UV rays and not considered a manufacturing defect.  Electrical cords and timers are not covered under this warranty.   Incompatibility with other products, accessories, equipment or materials not supplied by HLM is not covered under this warranty.

 

Limitation of Liability

HLM will not be liable for any consequential, incidental, special, or exemplary damages arising from:

  • Loss of profits or revenue.
  • Loss of product use or damage to associated equipment.
  • Cost of capital, substitute products, facilities, services, or downtime.
  • Removal or reinstallation of products.
  • Personal injury or property claims from claimant’s customers.

HLM’s maximum liability on any claim will not exceed the purchase price of the specific product under warranty..


Filing a Warranty Claim

Product returns within the warranty period must first be approved by HLM.  To file a warranty claim, please email HLM at info@holidaylightingmanagement.com or call 402.397.0903.  You will need to provide your contact information, information from your product invoice including invoice date, invoice number, product name, and details regarding the problem you are having with the product.  Please be as specific as possible when giving details of the problem.  

Once the warranty claim has been processed, you will receive return instructions with an RMA number.  Be sure the RMA number is clearly marked on the shipping label and include a copy of your original invoice.  All shipping charges associated with a warranty return will be the responsibility of the owner.  Returns received without proper identification will not be processed.  

Upon inspection of the returned product and approval of the warranty claim, the product will be replaced (or repaired) with the same or similar product.  HLM will cover the return shipping charges on all approved claims.  In the event that an item can’t be replaced, a merchandise credit will be issued to be used on a future purchase.  

If the returned product is determined to be damaged or non-functional due to user neglect and not from a manufacturing defect, the owner will be responsible for the return shipping charges.
